Over the past several weeks, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas has traveled to Saginaw, MI; Nashville, TN; and Cincinnati, OH to bestow his clergy with new Offikia. 

At the Vespers honoring St. Demetrios (10/25/2022), the patron saint of the church in Saginaw, His Eminence raised Fr. Timothy Cook to the rank of Economos. 

On November 20th, Fr. Jarrod Russell in Nashville was raised to the rank of Archimandrite.

On November 27th, Fr. Mark Emroll in Cincinnati was raised to the rank of Protopresbyter.

On the 10th of November 2022, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America announced the appointment of Eva Konstantakos to the position of National Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries (Y2AM).

Eva has served the Metropolis of Detroit as the Metropolis Y2AM Director since 2003, after she earned her Master of Theological Studies from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology.  Over the past 19 years, Eva has worked tirelessly to improve and expand the youth and young adult ministries of the Metropolis and to make sure that our parishes have the resources they need to minister to their local communities.  She has been an integral part of the Metropolis of Detroit and will now be able to apply her expertise to the entire Archdiocese.

Eva begins her new position with the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America on Tuesday the 15th of November 2022.  May God grant her strength in her new role and grant that she may serve the youth and young adults of our Holy Archdiocese well.
