BUFFALO, NY - The International Commision for Anglican-Orthodox Theological Dialogue held, for the first time since its inception, a meeting in the United States. The meeting was hosted in our Metropolis by the Annunciation Church of Buffalo, New York. His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas visited this week with the Commision members and welcomed them at a dinner on Tuesday night at Niagra Falls. At the conclusion of its meeting, the Commision released the following statement:
NEW YORK – The Office of Ionian Village has announced the dates for its Summer 2016 programs. Ionian Village is the international camping ministry of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America with campgrounds located in Peloponnesos, Greece.
From August 29-September 2, 2015, at the invitation of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, a Synaxis of Hierarchs of the Ecumenical Throne gathered from all over the world at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Taksim Square.
