This past Tuesday evening, July 22, His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas delivered the homily at an ecumenical vigil service dedicated to St. Anna, mother of the Theotokos. In 2011 the Vatican declared St. Anna (Anne) to be the patroness of the city of Detroit, and His Excellency, Archbishop Vigneron consistently invites our Metropolitan to join him at the vigil service held in her honor, often asking him to deliver the homily. Metropolitan Nicholas gave a beautiful message, "Blessed Eyes, and Blessed Ears."
