The mission of the Outreach and Evangelism Committee of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Detroit is to proclaim the Gospel of Christ and cultivate the missionary spirit in our churches.

- Teaching and propagating the Orthodox Christian Faith to Laity and Ambassadors.
- Equipping Ambassadors to form meaningful conversations with inquirers.
- Providing training for Ambassadors to navigate the missionary field within their Church and community (in-reach and out-reach).
- Providing tools for Ambassadors, Laity, and Clergy to work with in spreading the Orthodox Faith in a manner that is comprehensive, easily accessible, and transformative.
