Greek Orthodox Military Chaplains

Greek Orthodox Military Chaplains are priests who provide the Holy Mysteries to Orthodox Christians and pastoral ministry to people of all walks of life. Some priests serve full-time as chaplains in the armed forces, while other parish priests have assumed additional responsibilities as chaplains at Veterans Administration hospitals or with local police forces.

Greek Orthodox Institutional Chaplaincy

The mission of Greek Orthodox Institutional Chaplaincy is to facilitate care for Orthodox Christians in various institutions.  Clergy Chaplains provide the Holy Mysteries to Orthodox Christians, and offer a witness of the Orthodox Faith to everyone.  Lay Chaplains function in a non-sacramental capacity only.  They are employed as Chaplains in local hospital, prisons, hospice, or universities, providing care for people by praying, counseling, advising, reading Scriptures, and teaching the Christian Faith.

Retired CLergy Association

The Retired Clergy Association (RCA) of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America was established in 1988. Its goal is to help make the golden years of the retired clergy as pleasant and as comfortable as possible. RCA keeps the retirees in touch with each other through “THE EPISTLE” newsletter published monthly by volunteers, with articles, pictures, and news submitted by its members.
