 Deacon Vasili was born on November 30, 1945, in Jackson Mississippi, to Theologos and Domna Vallas from the Island of Patmos, Greece. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietman War. He received his Juris Doctor Degree, Cum Laude, from Mississippi College School of Law in 1976. Thereafter, Dcn. Vasili practiced law and had his own firm in Jackson until he retired in 2012. Dcn. Vasili and Diaconisa Lyn now reside in Nashville, Tennessee, where their four children and 6 grandchildren also reside. After completing the Special Program for the Diaconate at Holy Cross School of Theology, Dcn. Vasili was ordained to the Holy Diaconate on October 14, 2018, by His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Detroit, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Nashville, where he now serves.
