 Fr. Theoharis was born in Milwaukee, WI on January 2, 1942 and was educated in the Milwaukee school system graduateding in June of 1960, studying engineering for two year before enrolling at Holy Cross in September, 1962 and graduated June 1969. He also studied at the University of Thessaloniki as a graduate student from September 1969 to June 1971. In 1969 he met and married his wife of more than 41 years on Staten Island. They are blessed with three wonderful children: George, Christopher and Andriana and with 6 grandchildren ranging in age from 11 years old to 3 month.
Fr. Theoharis was ordained in August, 1971 a deacon in Staten Island, NY by Metropolitan Silas and ordained a priest in Milwaukee, WI by Bishop Philotheos of Meloa in September 1971. He served in the following parishes: Gary (Merriville), IN, Rockford, IL, Alliquippa, PA, Overland Park, KS, Fort Myers, FL, Huntsville, AL, Florence, SC, Jackson, MS and Kalamazoo, Ml. Father holds two Offikia: Economos and Protopresbyter. Presvytera Eleni was called by our Lord on December 17, 2010. His favorite pastime is to play with his grandchildren. |
