Holy Trinity Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan hosted the Greek Orthodox Youth Olympics this past weekend (January 27-28). Young people from all over the Metropolis of Detroit joined together in order to get better acquainted, have fun, and learn about their faith. Participants came from as far away as Cincinnati to take part in this, the fourth year of this wonderful event.

Metropolis of Detroit's Victoria Martine Wins 1st Place Senior Division at the National Oratorical Festival
Woburn, Mass. – The Metropolis of Boston and Annunciation Church hosted this year’s 34th annual St. John Chrysostom National Oratorical Festival the weekend of June 9-11, 2017.
The St. Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine is now accepting submissions for the 2017 Annual Essay Contest, which is open to teens age 13-19.

All GOYAns in or near Michigan are welcome to attend the annual GOYA Lenten Retreat on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 11:30am - 7:30pm. This year's retreat will be hosted by Assumption Church in Saint Clair Shores, MI.
