Father Gregory Hohnholt was born in El Dorado, Kansas and grew up in Corpus Christi, TX. He attended Texas Tech University for his undergraduate studies in engineering and entered received his M.Div. from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in 2004. He is certified in S.T.A.R. (Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience) from Eastern Mennonite University. He was ordained a priest on June 13, 2004 by Metropolitan Isaiah at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Dallas, TX, where he served the Holy Trinity community from June of 2004 until March of 2008. In March of 2008, he was transferred to be under the Omophorion of Metropolitan Nicholas of Detroit and was assigned to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Nashville, TN, serving there from March of 2008 until September of 2019. Father Hohnholt now serves the community of the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Carmel, IN. He has two sons - Thomas and Stephen.
